O Secretário de Estado da Fazenda, Marcellus Ribeiro Alves, recebeu o presidente do Conselho Regional de Economia do Maranhão, Heric Santos Hossoé, em uma visita institucional. Participaram do encontro também o economista Frednan Bezerra dos Santos, conselheiro do CORECON-MA e o economista Jomar Fernandes Pereira Filho, auditor fiscal e Coordenador do Núcleo de Estudos Econômico-Fiscais NEEF/SEFAZ-MA.
O primeiro tema abordado pelo presidente do CORECON-MA foi a valorização da profissão do economista diante do cenário de crise política e econômica no cenário nacional e a inserção do economista no mercado de trabalho, em especial no setor público.
O secretário identificou como fundamental a atuação do Economista na atual gestão da SEFAZ-MA, pois para ele somente esse profissional pode subsidiar a administração tributária com a análise e avaliação dos impactos econômico-financeiros decorrentes de propostas de alterações da legislação tributária estadual com vista ao aperfeiçoamento, planejamento e na formulação de uma política tributária do Estado voltada para o desenvolvimento socioeconômico sustentável.
Nesse contexto de valorização do economista foi criado o Núcleo de Estudos Econômico-Fiscais (NEEF), através da PORTARIA N° 034/2015 – GABIN. SÃO LUÍS, 29 DE JANEIRO DE 2015, que hoje está em processo de consolidação institucional no planejamento estratégico.
Concurso Público
O Presidente do CORECON-MA explanou sobre o conhecimento que a SEFAZ/MA prepara concurso público e colocou em pauta a reserva de mercado para Economistas. O secretário afirmou que o certame foi Incluído no Projeto de Lei Orçamentária Anual de 2016 do Governo do Maranhão e já foi autorizado pelo governador Flávio Dino, mas que ainda existem alguns empecilhos à sua realização que deverão ser resolvidos nos próximos meses. Quanto à reserva de mercado afirmou que o concurso será para os cargos de auditor e técnico fiscal, sendo que na primeira carreira a exigência deve ser a titulação de bacharel, e que os Economistas devem se destacar por sua formação teórico-lógica na disputa pelas trinta e cinco vagas para carreira de auditor fiscal.
O Presidente do CORECON-MA deu ênfase e apoio na interessante iniciativa da parceria DECON/UFMA a SEFAZ no projeto do Observatório da Política Fiscal e listou os principais projetos em andamento na atual gestão do conselho: Conversa com Economistas; Semana do Economista e a Campanha de Educação Financeira.
O secretário se colocou à disposição para estreitar laços e firmar novas parcerias institucionais para promoção da profissão do Economista.
O Presidente do CORECON-MA explanou sobre a importância da Campanha de Educação Financeira do CORECON-MA e a parceria firmada com a OAB que agrega a temática da Defesa do Consumidor à Campanha e propôs parceria com SEFAZ-MA para agregar a temática da Educação Fiscal.
O secretário aprovou a parceria colocando à disposição do CORECON-MA a estrutura do projeto de Educação Fiscal da SEFAZ-MA.
Um último tema que foi tratado pelo Presidente do CORECON-MA foi a parceria com a SEFAZ-MA com vista à capacitação profissional dos Economistas.
